INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Install the charcoal canister outlet hose.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Install the No. 1 charcoal canister outlet hose.
3. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER SUPPORT BRACKET
(a) Install charcoal canister support bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf)
4. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER BASE BRACKET
(a) Install charcoal canister base bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf)

(b) Install the hose clamp.

(c) Connect the charcoal canister outlet hose to hose clamp.
|
(d) Install the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly.
|
(e) Connect the No. 2 canister outlet hose sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
-
Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.
-
After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are securely connected by pulling on them.
5. INSTALL FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly.

Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.

After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are securely connected by pulling on them.
6. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 29 N·m (296 kgf·cm, 21 ft·lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Connect the charcoal canister outlet hose.
|
7. CONNECT NO. 1 CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Connect the No. 1 charcoal canister outlet hose.
8. CONNECT FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the bolt.
Torque: 29 N·m (296 kgf·cm, 21 ft·lbf)
(b) Connect the vent line hose.
HINT:
-
Before installing the hose, make sure that it is not damaged. Make sure that there is no foreign matter present on the connecting surfaces.

After connecting, check if the hose and the connector are securely connected by pulling on them.
